I once paid 5x for a taxi in Macedonia due to my lack of knowledge it should have been $1 but I ended up paying $10 but if I had any of the apps I've listed below I would have been able to book via or at least haggle down the driver.

There are many ways you can save money whilst travelling usually the biggest spender whilst travelling is paying much more to Taxis/Accommodation so these apps are my recommended to help cut cost.
